…mi sono imbattuta nel sito di Slow Design ed ho trovato, senza volerlo il regalo perfetto per un’amica che ama gli oggetti in vetro e legno, oltre ad aver passato un piacevole quarto d’ora, ammirando oggetti di design belli ed utilizzabili quotidianamente.
I due creatori del brand, Roberto di Filitto e Nathalie Schneider, lavorano con abili artigiani toscani, reinventando in maniera elegante, funzionale e sostenibile il mondo degli oggetti per la casa. Le loro creazioni, tra cui troverete piatti, contenitori intelligenti che si trasformano, bottiglie, alzate, ma anche lampade in vetro riciclato, uniscono alla purezza e alla semplicità del vetro colorato e non, dei dettagli in legno locale, tornito a a mano, che sono riuscite a conquistare anche il pubblico delle Galeries Lafayette, a Parigi, dove sono state esposte, in occasione della fiera Maison & Object.
…I came across this lovely site belonging to Slow Design and found, without intending, the perfect gift for a friend who loves the glass and wood objects, plus I spent a very pleasant quarter of an hour, admiring their beautiful design objects, that strange but true are daily usable, too.
The two brand creators, Roberto Filitto and Nathalie Schneider, work with skilled Tuscan artisans, reinventing in a stylish, functional and sustainable way, objects for the home. Their creations, among which you will find dishes, intelligent transformable containers, bottles, fruit stands, but also lamps made with recycled glass, their creations combine the purity and simplicity of colored glass with simple details of local wood, all hand turned. It is not by chance, that they conquer the audience of the Galeries Lafayette in Paris, where they exposed their creations at the fair Maison & Objet.
